PHOTO GALLERY: Lane, Morgan win at Kingsport Speedway

KINGSPORT — Derek Lane and Hunter Morgan each picked up a late model feature win at Kingsport Speedway on Friday, June 28, during the Double Strike 250 presented by Cobra Racing Tires.

Castlewood’s Rob Austin won the street stock feature. The rest of the top five included Jay Swecker Jr., Nathaniel Owens, Mike Mays and Sam Ferguson. Church Hill’s Kenney Kelley finished at No. 11.

Greeneville’s Austin Walters started sixth and worked his way to the front to win the super street feature.

Chris Amburgey of Hiltons, Virginia, won the Mod 4 feature, while Brandon Sutherland of Johnson City won the 35-lap Pure 4 event. Church Hill’s Mike Craig started on the pole in the Pure 4 feature and finished sixth.

Limestone’s Keith McMurray picked up the Beginner FWD victory. Rogersville’s Jackson Crawford started fourth and finished second in the 20-lap feature. Church Hill’s Chip Moody finished seventh.
