    After spotting the Doughboys’ 2 runs the Axmen come back to win 12-5

    Kingsport, TN — Appy league tonight in Kingsport, Doughboys were up 4 to 3 on the Axmen when we arrived. In the bottom 3rd, Johnson City native Jack Torbett singles on a line drive to right fielder Christian Toledo as Cal Sefcik comes home to score then Toledo unleashes a throw home that the catcher can’t come up with so Kingsport native Tanner Kilgore goes home Axmen are ahead 5 to 4.

    Still in the 3rd, Tyree Jackson will single on a flyball to center bringing Torbett full circle and extending the Axmen’s lead 6 to 3. Top of the 5th, Greeneville native Braden Spano sends it to the right field fence. he books it to second but overshoots the base Axmen will tag him out before he can get back on and he’s not happy and neither are the Doughboys who fall tonight 12-5
