    Axmen pitched a shutout against the State Liners and won 4-0 in Kingsport

    Kingsport, TN — Appy league in Kingsport tonight where the State liners were having their home game against the Axmen, and bottom of the fifth, Elijah Alexander grounds into a double play, shortstop Mason Swinney to second baseman Jack Torbett to first baseman Devan Zirwas. Hunter High is out at 2nd Elijah Alexander is out at 1st.

    Top of the sixth, Axmen’s Nico Newhan will hit the ball to the left field Zirwas and Cal Sefcik return home to extend the Axmen’s lead 4 to nothing bottom of the sixth, Liners looking to get on the board with one on third but Hayden Blair will get struck out by billy eich.

    Axmen will go on to win 4 to 0
