Above and beyond: Here are Kingston's scholar athletes for 2023-24

The Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association recently honored its top senior student-athletes for each high school. Kingston High School selected Alex Coffey and William Hack.

Here are their profiles:

Alex Coffey

GPA: 100.85

Class Rank: 7

Varsity Sports: Soccer; Indoor Track and Field; Lacrosse

Academic Honors/Extracurricular Activities: National Honor Society; Spanish National Honor Club; Girls Who Code Club

Athletic Honors: Varsity Letters in soccer, indoor track and field and lacrosse; led soccer team in scoring fall 2023; team captain for lacrosse

Community Service: Bike for Cancer Care; Computer Science Unplugged; Volunteer Perfect Pet Rescue

Future Plans: United States Military Academy at West Point, to major in Computer Science and play soccer

William Hack

GPA: 97.14

Class Rank: 38

Varsity Sports: Cross country; Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field

Academic Honors/Extracurricular Activities: Chorus; Varsity Club

Athletic Honors: Team captain for cross country and track and field teams

Community Service: Volunteer at local races - Turkey Trot and YMCA Reindeer Ramble

Future Plans: Michigan State University, to major in Accounting and participate in club cross country and track and field
