City of Florence reporting system-wide water pressure problems in aftermath of Debby
FLORENCE, S.C. (WMBF) - Officials in Florence said the city’s water system was seeing system-wide issues on Friday. In a statement, the city said the problems are the result of flooding from Tropical Stormy Debby “that has occurred upstream of the city’s raw water intake along the Pee Dee River, the city’s surface water treatment plant began to take on water that contained high organic material.”
