The Citadel hikes out-of-state tuition, holds line on in-state costs for 2024
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The Citadel's Board of Visitors voted to raise out-of-state tuition for cadets while keeping in-state cadet tuition the same as the year prior. During a June board meeting, members approved an out-of-state tuition increase of 3%. It was a decision that backtracked on a November 2023 vote that increased both in-state and out-of-state tuition by 4.25%. The board then determined that the increase was unnecessary and elected to keep the in-state tuition level while increasing the out-of-state sticker price.
