Kinnelon Gas Station Received An Improper Delivery of Fuel: Premium Tank Filled With Diesel

KINNELON, NJ - Last week on July 22nd, Kinnelon Police Department were alerted that there was an issue regarding a vehicle having diesel filled in their car in place of premium gasoline.

It was identified that the gas station was Fuel 4. Fuel 4 was notified.

It was determined that the gas station was given a delivery of improper fuel in which the premium gas tanks had been filled with diesel.

Regular fuel was unaffected and continues to be pumped at the station.

Thus far, 3 vehicles have been reported to be affected.

The Morris County Unit of Weights and Measures has been notified of the incident and is continuing their investigation.
