Traffic stop leads to drug trafficking charges
On July 12, a routine traffic stop on Highway 2 in Esto led to a drug seizure by deputies from the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO). The stop was initiated due to traffic violations involving a blue Dodge pickup and turned into a search after deputies observed narcotics in plain sight inside the vehicle.
