Navigating traffic ahead of Car Week along the Central Coast

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Ahead of the bulk of Car Week, the County of Monterey is advising people to plan for heavily populated roadways.

The Housing and Community Development (HCD) have created tools to help residents and visitors navigate the busy traffic. They say people can get real time traffic information by visiting www.MCCarWeek.com or by scanning the QR code below.

The County of Monterey also says that people can sign up for text alerts and notifications related to Car Week by texting “CARWEEK” to 65513.
