Illinois Residents, Decline Calls From These 8 Area Codes Immediately
I don't know what it is, but my phone has been ringing off the hook nonstop with spam calls and they all come from different area codes. Has it been happening to you, too?. It's so irritating constantly declining calls all day long, especially when I've already flagged and blocked a ton of numbers from continuously re-calling. Obviously not all calls from these area codes are spam, but my phone has been super accurate in flagging those that are either spam or telemarketers trying to make a buck.

Under provisions of a new law, undocumented residents in Illinois are now eligible to receive four-year driver’s licenses. Bricks saved: Cherry Valley trustees vote to preserve signature roadway
CHERRY VALLEY — The russet brick road that is a signature part of the character of the village of Cherry Valley has been saved. Village trustees voted Tuesday to reverse course on previous plans to harvest bricks on East State Street between Lawrence and Van Buren streets and pave that roughly three-block stretch. The board voted 4-1 to change its street improvement contract with Rock Road Companies and eliminate the portion that called for removing the bricks.

Eastland basketball takes revenge over Pecatonica

Oglesby Seeking Homeowners Interested In Housing Rehab Program
Like anything else, home repairs aren't cheap. If you live in Oglesby, there may be assistance available to repair your home. The city recently sent out surveys to some folks concerning a housing rehabilitation grant the city is seeking next year. The grant helps low-income, senior, disabled and single-parent homeowners repair their homes or make them accessible to allow persons to live in their homes longer. There's no cost to the homeowner.

QCA martial artist in the fight of his life against cancer
A Quad-City martial artist is taking on the fight of his life: cancer. John Morrow, owner of Morrow’s Academy of Martial Arts in Moline, has had a long career of. fighting and giving. Morrow was recently diagnosed with stage four lung cancer, but it hasn’t stopped the 72-year-old from doing what he loves, instructing martial arts and fundraising for charity.
