Today the city of Kirkland turned out with a total of 80 volunteers to help aid in the search for Dave Harger. The family and friends are truly grateful for those volunteers who have been out there searching. Please continue to get out and search. His last known citing was going into the Chateau Woods area. His shirt is described as being a more maroon red. He responds “Dave”. Let’s keep him on Social Media until he’s found. Remember to leave a light on for Dave. If he sees it, he may yell for help. It is believed that he likely has fallen and is not able to get up as he has not had his medicine for Parkinson’s. #lightupkirklandfordavid.

As of yesterday afternoon, KPD is requesting the public’s assistance in helping bring David “Dave” Harger home. He’s 66 years old, brown hair, blue eyes. He’s 5’11 and approx 180lbs. Last seen on August 21, 2024 at approx 1pm. Wearing a red T-shirt, dark knit pants, black Velcro shoes. He has a black pouch around his neck that has a pump connected to his stomach. It is believed that he is on foot. He requires constant medical care. He will respond to “Dave”. He suffers from Parkinson’s and Dementia. He is a fall risk. He will become disoriented and confused. Check your sheds and see if he is seeking shelter from the rain. Help Bring Dave Home!

He went missing from his residence at Kingsgate, Kirkland on August 21. David's vulnerable due to his medical condition and needs constant care. 📝**Description** David's about 5’11” tall, weighs around 180lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen in a dark red t-shirt, dark knit pants, and black Velcro shoes. He carries a black pouch containing his medication. 🚁**Search Efforts** KPD, along with King County Search and Rescue, are trying to find David, using unmanned aerial systems and ground teams.
