Fellowship Hi-Crest Church hosts community events
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -Fellowship Hi-Crest Church hosted two events on Sunday. The first was Hi-Crest Serve Day. “We gave information out to different people on activities and stuff that was going on in the community center here, and also the Dolly Parton imagination library and how to get signed up for different programs in the community,” said Sandra Batt of the Hi-Crest Neighborhood Improvement Association, or NIA.
Car show generates over $200, over 150 items for Corky’s Cupboard
Car enthusiasts gathered in front of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church for a benefit car show Sunday. The church and Beacon for Hope Suicide Prevention teamed up to help the Corky’s Cupboard food pantry at Emporia State University.
