It's still mind-blowing that we can walk into a convenience store and grab one of those super-tall, big cans of Arizona Iced Teas in one of the many flavors. My go-to is the 23- ounce green tea with ginseng and honey. The fact that the price of 99 cents is...

Illinois License Plates: Here’s What Happens If Yours Are Stolen
You'd think that this would be an easy explanation, but it turns out that it's just not. However, an Aurora man found out that things sometimes are just not that clear-cut.
This Quirky Southern Indiana Diner is tiny, but the Food and Sci-Fi Feel Pack a Punch
It may only seat 10 people, but this tiny eatery is known for its futuristic feel and out-of-this-world food. I love a good strange or quirky find, and when I came across this diner, I knew it had to be added to my list of must-visit places this summer! I was recently reading an article from Southern Indiana where they named some of the more strange, unusual, and quirky places in the southern part of the Hoosier State, and one of those places was a teeny tiny sci-fi-themed diner that is full of pop culture references and top-notch food.

This Illinois Caterpillar Will Ruin Your Day If You Touch It
Here's a little warning from someone (me) who saw a family member (my son) find out the hard way about these little guys, and who's kept an eye out for them ever since then. It's a Tussock Moth Caterpillar, and it's venomous. Not the "well, it's been nice knowing you" type of venomous, but as my son recently found out, it's a pretty unpleasant experience.
