Enrique Iglesias dropped his emotional "Hero" music video in 2001, which also starred Jennifer Love Hewitt and Mickey Rourke, but it turns out that his tears were more real than fans knew. Did You Know One of the Voices of Your Childhood is from Indiana?
Did you know the voice of some of your favorite characters from Star Wars, SpongeBob SquarePants, Space Jam, and several others is a fellow Hoosier?. It just wasn't a Saturday morning in 2005 without the cartoons. I can still remember getting up at around 7 a.m. to plop myself in front of an old Magnavox TV with a bowl of Cap'n Crunch, ready to enjoy all my favorite shows. I normally wouldn't move until the news came on, or I was told to go outside for some fresh air. As I got older and caught reruns of those programs, I began to do some research on who voiced some of my favorite iconic characters, and Dee Bradley Baker popped up several times during my Google excursions.

Love Vintage? You’ll Want to Add Antique Alley to Your Indiana Summer Bucket List
Antique Alley is home to more than 800 antique shops, where you could spend days treasure hunting. Something I love doing is searching for vintage items and antiques. My home is filled with vintage and antique furniture because I love finding unique pieces for my home. I also hate putting cheap furniture together, so I'd rather find a classic (already put together) treasure for my home. Not to mention, it's just really cool to give new life to something old. As the old phrase goes "one man's trash is another's treasure!"
Yikes! This is the Worst Movie Featuring an Indiana Setting
Several movies have been made over the years that take place in Indiana, but not all of them have been big blockbuster hits. Two of my favorite movies that use Indiana as the main setting are The Christmas Story (1983) and Rudy (1993). The first of those is, of course, a classic, and the second is just a solid, heartwarming sports flick. I'm ashamed to say that I've never sat through the movie Hoosiers (1986), which was filmed in several portions of central Indiana. (I'll add that to my running list.) Each of those films was clearly successful, but not every film based in Indiana has had the same response. Some are certainly better than others.
Woman Uses Be My Eyes App to Discover If Her Boyfriend Is Cheating On Her
A woman with blindness sought help through a stranger via an app to find out if her boyfriend was cheating on her. TikTok user @annaconda309 posted a video to explain how her first time using an app as a volunteer was quite unusual. The Be My Eyes app assists people with blindness or limited vision help with everyday tasks through its volunteers, sighted users who can sign up for free and request a video call at a moment's notice. Anna downloaded the app years prior but because of how many volunteers are on the app (roughly 16 volunteers per one person who is visually impaired), this was the first time that she was alerted to a user needing assistance. When Anna got the ping, she accepted the response. She was expecting that it would be a regular task, such as picking out an outfit, confirming something like a color or ingredient, or an everyday activity. She was in for a surprise.

Should You Use a Wire Brush to Clean Your Indiana Grill?
Memorial Day weekend has come to a close and if you need to clean your grill after that big cookout, then there are some things you need to know about wire brushes. I do a lot of grilling and slow smoking, so I'm no stranger to cleaning up a big, greasy mess following a big event. Currently, I use an Old Country BBQ Pits Pecos Smoker along with a good ole pellet grill I picked up from Tractor Supply some years ago. While both are fueled by different means, they each have grates that need a good scrubbing after a cooking session. However, I've recently seen some TikTok videos that suggest wire brushes shouldn't be used on your grill grates, which led me to research the above question in detail.
