(WSAZ) -- Scattered areas of rain are back in town here on a Monday, but now that we’re down more than four inches in rainfall deficit since the start of June, there’s a lot of work that needs to be done in that department. Nevertheless, nobody wants to make up that shortfall all at once (that would be flooding). We’ve got opportunities for rain on several different days this week, and that will also help keep the heat down.
