Sedalia Police Reports for July 5, 2024
This article is compiled from the Sedalia Police Department crime reports. Thursday night, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near South Montgomery Avenue and East Broadway Boulevard. During the course of the investigation, it was confirmed the driver had a revoked driving status. Rodrigo Quetzecua Marcos, 30, of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of felony Driving While Revoked. Marcos was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.
Sedalia Man Injured in Sunday Afternoon Crash
A Sedalia man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Sunday afternoon in Pettis County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2001 Jeep Cherokee, driven by 62-year-old Danny E. Cosby of Sedalia, was at Highway H and Elliott Road just before 1 p.m., when the Jeep ran off the right side of the roadway, traveled through a ditch, struck the ground, and came to rest facing north.
Marshall Man Injured in Pettis County Rollover
A Marshall man was injured in a one-vehicle rollover that occurred Sunday morning in Pettis County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 1996 Toyota Tacoma, driven by 79-year-old Santiago R. Rivera of Marshall, was on US 65, north of Spring Garden Road around 10:30 a.m., when the Toyota blew a tire and the driver lost control. The vehicle traveled off the roadway struck a ditch and overturned.

Sedalia Woman Arrested for Assault, Resisting & Driving While Revoked
On Thursday evening, Sedalia Police observed a suspect driving a vehicle in the area of West 7th Street and South Moniteau Avenue. Officers knew the suspect had a revoked driving status. Officers initiated a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle, a greenish-blue Chevrolet Silverado. Officers made contact with the suspect, who was uncooperative.
