Stover Motorcyclist Injured in Benton County
A Stover man was injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred Tuesday evening in Benton County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2003 Honda VTX, driven by 45-year-old Richard W. This article is compiled from the Sedalia Police Department crime reports. In the early morning hours of June 28th, Officers observed a car travelling eastbound on East Third Street, as it approached Washington Avenue. The car failed to stop until about a car length past the stop line. It continued eastbound, weaving, and driving in the middle of the road. Officers initiated a traffic stop at East 3rd Street and South Engineer Avenue. The driver was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Whitney Lynn Raymond, 36, of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs). Raymond was booked and released at the Pettis County Jail.
