( KLFY )– In a new edition of Acadiana Eats, News 10 checked out the newly renovated Pete’s Sports Bar in Lafayette.

It’s a staple in the hub city and the crew showed News 10 how they put together their “Lovin it Pizza”, and their barbeque chicken nachos.

Located at 3903 Johnston St., Pete’s has been a Lafayette tradition since 1968. This locally owned family-friendly restaurant provides a fan-favorite spot where “local Cajuns and Tigers come to eat, drink and play.”

The business is open Mondays through Thursdays, and Saturdays and Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. On Fridays, the restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 8:45 p.m.
