Tuesday’s weather will be similar to Labor Day in Acadiana. A warm and humid morning is followed by late summer heat. Highs near 93° with a heat index from 100° to 108° during the hottest part of the day. Rain chances should be slightly higher this afternoon as isolated showers and storms are possible.

Starting tomorrow afternoon, widespread rains are in the forecast for Acadiana. Rainfall could last throughout all of Thursday before ending Friday morning. Severe weather is not expected but a flash flooding risk is possible.
