    Second victim of barbershop shooting has died, Lafayette police say

    LAFAYETTE, La. ( KLFY ) — The second victim of last weekend’s barbershop shooting has died, according to the Lafayette Police Department.

    The second victim is 19-year-old Quincy Duhon Jr. of Lafayette.

    The shooting occurred at about 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at a barbershop on Louisiana Avenue between Mudd Avenue and Simcoe Street.

    Responding officers found two victims at the scene. Duhon was taken to an area hospital for treatment. The other victim, 48-year-old Johnny Trailer Jr., was pronounced dead at the scene.
