Jordan Mason has done extremely well since being thrown into the starting running back position for an injured Christian McCaffrey. Mason reached the end zone against the Vikings in a 100-yard rushing performance.

Although the 49ers are dealing with multiple injuries, their opponents, the Los Angeles Rams, are dealing with even more injuries. The Rams gave up 231 yards on the ground against the Cardinals in Week 2 and could allow even more in Week 3.
