NEW IBERIA, La. ( KLFY ) — A man has been arrested and charged with first degree murder in connection with an August shooting in Iberia Parish , authorities said.

Bradley Fontenot III, 22, was arrested by the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office Friday and charged with the murder of 19-year-old Dallas Lewis. Lewis’s body was found shot to death in a home on Gerald James Drive on Aug. 27.

Fontenot was also charged with obstruction of justice/evidence tampering, possession with intent to distribute Schedule I drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bond has not been set, according to the IPSO.
