Police: Missing Jennings man with medical needs says he’s OK, out of town

UPDATE, 9/25/24, 7:45 a.m.: Jennings Police said they have made contact with Fontenot who said he is okay and out of town. Officials said police will continue to actively investigate this matter.

ORIGINAL STORY: JENNINGS, La. ( KLFY ) — The Jennings Police Department is asking for help in finding a missing 55-year-old Jennings man who is diabetic.

Brian Fontenot was last seen around the 1000 block of West Division Street in Jennings, police said , and that he is known to frequently walk in that area.

His last known clothing description is unknown.

Anyone with information on Fontenot’s whereabouts is asked to call Jennings police or call the tip line at 337-275-9002.
