    Two Eunice men arrested in connection with Acadia Parish burglary

    ACADIA PARISH, La. ( KLFY ) — Two Eunice men have been arrested and charged with stealing guns from a home in Acadia Parish, authorities said.

    Adam Gustin, 40, of Eunice, and Marcus McGee, 45, of Eunice, were arrested Tuesday and booked into the Acadia Parish Jail.

    Gustin is charged with six counts of theft of a firearm and one count each of simple burglary and criminal property damage.

    McGee is charged with six counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and one count each of theft of a firearm, simple burglary and criminal property damage. He was also arrested on three outstanding warrants.

    Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Deputies said the victim in the case reported numerous firearms along with other property were taken from a residence on Prudhomme Road. Investigators said numerous guns from the burglary were located at a neighboring residence.

    Deputies recovered six stolen firearms and other items stolen during the burglary, officials said. The value of the items stolen in the burglary is approximately $8,000.

    Bond details were not released.
