YOUNGSVILLE, La. ( KLFY ) — An attempted theft of an ATM at a Youngsville Bank overnight was unsuccessful, authorities said.

Youngsville Police said the ATM at the Community First Bank at the corner of Milton Avenue and Chemin Metairie Road was the target of a robbery attempt at about 4 a.m.

Police said no money was removed, and no suspects are in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
