LAFAYETTE, La. ( KLFY ) — This month, Catherine Baggett pays it forward to her neighbor, Maria Viator.

KLFY’s Layne Miller and Bob Giles, of Giles Automotive, found Baggett in a Target parking lot and presented her with the opportunity to pay it forward with an envelope containing $1,000 cash.

Baggett chose to pay it forward to her neighbor, Maria Viator.

“She works really hard, and yet is a great mom to three girls,” Baggett said.

Baggett surprised Viator while she was in a work meeting.

“You deserve it. You work hard. You’re a great mom,” Baggett said. “You’re career goals, mom goals.”
