We’ve seen a very quiet stretch of weather through the past week and it’s going to continue for this upcoming week as well.

The main jet stream will be pushed to the north as a ridge of high pressure sits across the eastern two-thirds of the country. This will push the main storm track well north of us, keeping us dry and keeping our weather relatively stable from day-to-day.

Some chilly mornings Monday and Tuesday, with morning starts in the low-mid 50s. Highs will reach the mid-80s Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Hotter weather later in the week as we could see highs in the upper 80s.

    TROPICS

Hurricane Oscar continues to move over the southeastern Bahamas this morning.

The storm is expected to move southwest towards the Cuban coastline and steadily weaken. The storm will eventually make a turn to the right, moving back out into the Atlantic. This storm poses no threat to the Gulf.
