Congratulations to the UNLPD! However? You have precedent. 50 years ago (my first semester in Lincoln), I had an evening class at Bessey Hall. Blessedly, a classmate offered me a ride back to Sandoz, as our session ended at 9:30 P.M. Imagine my surprise upon learning that my benefactor was none other than Husker fullback, John O’Leary! “I don’t think that it’s safe for girls to walk around campus at night,” he explained. Granted, it was a different era. However? This young man was a perfect gentleman. He served as my “Uber-driver” for the remainder of the semester. GBR! ❤️🌽🤍
