Brady PD: One female in critical condition following shooting

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — The Brady Police Department announced on Aug. 22 that they are currently investigating a shooting that took place on Aug. 20 in collaboration with the Texas Rangers.

According to a press release shared on social media from the department , first responders were dispatched to the 200 Blk of E. Lockhart in response to a gunshot victim at around 9:47 p.m. on Aug. 20. Upon arrival, a female with life-threatening injuries was located.

The individual was transported to Shannon Medical Center and is receiving critical medical care.

BPD reported that a male suspect was taken into custody and remains held at the McCulloch County Jail with pending charges.

This is an ongoing investigation and there is no threat to the public.
