Longest-serving Bryan city secretary retires

BRYAN, Texas ( FOX 44 ) – The longest-serving city secretary in the history of Bryan has officially retired.

The City of Bryan, mayor and City Council invited the public to a come-and-go retirement reception in honor of City Secretary Mary Lynne Stratta on Thursday afternoon. This event recognized her 34 years of service.

The event took place from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the Bryan Municipal Court, located at 401 S. Tabor Avenue. A special ceremony was held at 3 p.m.

Those invited who were out of town joined the reception and sent well-wishes through Zoom.
