    SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — It’s time to get salty.

The Syracuse Mets have transformed NBT Bank Stadium into Tater Town because it’s Salt Potato Power Move Weekend.

That means the team will be taking the field as the Syracuse Salt Potatoes during Friday and Saturday night’s games.

Both nights also feature giveaways. If you head to the ball park on Friday, the first 1,000 fans will get a foldable team card set.

Saturday is Latino Night. Not only will there be Latin food and music, but since it will still be part of the Salt Potato Weekend, the first 1,000 fans will get jerseys that say ‘Las Patatas Saladas.’

There will also be fireworks both nights.
