Driver dies after losing control of motorcycle

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — A San Angelo man is deceased following a single-vehicle crash that happened on Aug. 24.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, 20-year-old Matthew Hansen was killed after losing control of a 2022 Kawasaki MC while driving on East Loop 306 Saturday night.

It is reported that Hansen was driving at a high rate of speed and lost control of the Kawasaki causing the bike to run off the roadway and into the median.
