Woman wanted for mail theft in Kendall County arrested in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — A woman has been arrested in San Angelo for allegedly stealing mail from at least 30 addresses while working as a United States Postal Service employee at the Boerne Post Office.

Andrea Barickman, 48, was booked into the Tom Green County Jail at around 5 p.m. on Sept. 3. She faces charges of mail theft from 30 or more addresses, abuse of official capacity and theft of property with a value between $2,500 and $30,000. She has a posted bond of $60,000.

According to a public statement issued on Aug. 20, the Kendall County Criminal District Attorney’s Office and the Boerne Police Department were searching for Barickman due to her alleged involvement with mail theft from the Boerne Post Office.

The criminal district office stated that Barickman was believed to be in San Angelo, though her last known address was located in San Antonio. The office asked anyone with information to contact the Boerne Police Department or the Kendall County Crime Stoppers.
