EDINBURG, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — Edinburg police are investigating a hit-and-run that left one cyclist hospitalized Tuesday evening.

Three teenagers were arraigned Wednesday afternoon for their involvement in the hit-and-run.

The driver, Robert Brown, 19, was charged with an accident involving serious bodily injury and failure to report. Brown’s bond was set at $60,000.

Passengers Juan Taylor, 19, and Jaeden Servantez, 18, were both charged with failure to report a felony. Both teens received a bond of $10,000.

The hit-and-run happened around 9 p.m. Tuesday on the intersection of 21st Avenue and University Drive, according to police.

Witnesses in the area reported to police that a gray Chevy Silverado had hit a cyclist and left the scene without rendering aid.

One suspect admitted his involvement in the accident and cooperated with police to locate the other teens involved in the hit-and-run.
