Highlights: Ozona stays focused, outduels Eldorado in week 2

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — Click the video above to watch highlights from Ozona vs. Eldorado.

In a matchup of 1-0 Concho Valley teams (and former district rivals), the Ozona Lions and Eldorado Eagles duked it out in a close game Friday night.

Ozona running back Christian Villareal had a game for the ages in week one; he rushed for 360 yards and six touchdowns. This contest wasn’t as high-scoring, but still entertaining. Lions quarterback Hudson Fowler found wide receiver Michael Daniels for a wide-open touchdown, setting the tone for Ozona.

Eldorado’s highlight of the game was a perfect pass from quarterback Jonnie Rae Adame to wide receiver Garrett Walling for a touchdown in the second half; however Ozona got the last laugh on Friday night, winning 28-19.
