Team RWB hosted 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — Team Red White and Blue hosted a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at San Angelo Stadium on the morning of Sept.8.

The purpose of the stair climb is to honor the lives of the 2,977 Americans who lost their lives that day and to thank our first responders and service members who continue to protect and serve our community. Participants climbed 2,200 stairs. 2,200 is the number of steps climbed by first responders on the 110 story, in the World Trade Center.

At the stair climb, there was local law enforcement so participants could meet them. There also was free water and snacks for participants.
