Tom Green County Hunger Coalition to host 3rd annual Outrun Student Hunger event

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) —The Tom Green County Hunger Coalition Angelo State University and Howard College are collaborating to host the 3rd annual Outrun Student Hunger event on Sept. 14.

According to a social media post by Ram Pantry, the 2K Fun Run/Walk will run from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., starting between the Mayer Museum on the ASU campus.

All donations will directly benefit the food pantries at Angelo State University and Howard College. Participants will also receive a free T-shirt.

Participants are asked to bring one or more shelf-stable food items as their entry fee. The event will conclude at the ASU University Center, where attendees can enjoy a free lunch and various giveaways.
