    Sterling County SO takes safety precautions after concerning social media post

    SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — The Sterling County Sheriff’s Office is taking necessary safety precautions following a social media post concerning several West Texas schools.

    According to a post on social media from the sheriff’s office on Sept. 10, the concering post “related to schools in the 432 area code”. This area includes Big Spring, Midland, Odessa, Fort Stockton and Alpine.

    “Even though we are not considred in the 432 area code, this is still a threat that will be taken seriously,” SCSO stated.
