    2 vehicle collision near McGill Elementary sends 1 to hosptial

    SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — A two-vehicle collision occurred near McGill Elementary on Sept. 9, involving a black Honda crossover and a white Ford Explorer.

    According to a SAPD officer, the incident occurred at the intersection of Guadalupe Street and Alexander Street when the Honda crossover was traveling west on Guadalupe Street and failed to yield at the intersection with Alexander Street. The vehicle collided with the Ford Explorer, which was heading south on Alexander Street.

    The black Honda crossover, carrying five passengers, did not sustain any serious injuries, and all passengers were reported to be unharmed. The driver of the Ford Explorer sustained minor injuries and was transported to Shannon Medical Center for treatment. Her injuries were not life-threatening.

    The driver of the Honda crossover received a citation for failing to yield the right of way at the yield sign.
