Highlights: Miles Bulldogs off to hot start in 2024

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — Watch the video above to hear from the Miles Bulldogs’ head coach as well as Quarterback Liam Yancy about the team’s recent success.

The Miles Bulldogs couldn’t have asked for a better start to the 2024 season. Coming off back-to-back wins against Concho Valley opponents, the Bulldogs are feeling confident heading into week 3.

Head Coach Jayson Wilhelm and the Bulldogs returned 17 starters heading into the season, proving that experience is a difference maker. However, a young star quarterback has also shined lately. Sophomore Liam Yancy threw for 321 passing yards and six touchdowns in a dominant 55-20 victory over the Sterling City Eagles. Junior running back Tevin Meade shined on the ground as well, totaling 192 rushing yards and an 80-yard touchdown run.

The Bulldogs host the Johnson City Eagles on Friday, September 13.
