SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) —A 21-year-old San Angelo man was charged with sextorting minors ranging from 11- to 17-years-old on Sept. 13.

According to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Texas, Juelz Sincere Armstead was charged with a superseding indictment that began in August 2021 after persuading at least seven minors to engage in sexual activities while he produced visual content of the activities.

Armstead organized a second attempt with two new minors on Feb. 26, 2024, where he used the content produced to harass and blackmail the individuals. He was arrested the next day on Feb. 27 by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office. He was held in the Tom Green County Detention Center with no bond, and the sheriff’s office asked those victimized by Armstead to contact local law enforcement.
