SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — Watch the video above to view highlights from Wall’s week three game versus Jim Ned and hear from head coach Craig Slaughter and running back Thomas Leanos.

Wall Hawks head coach Craig Slaughter and his players can breathe a sigh of relief after their week three win over the Jim Ned Indians. Wall cruised to a 17-point first-half lead, seemingly in control of the game.

Things changed in the second half when Jim Ned scored 24 unanswered points, shifting all the momentum. However, Wall delivered in the clutch when it mattered most. Trailing 24-17 in the closing seconds, running back Thomas Leanos scored the potential game-tying touchdown to send it to overtime.

The Hawks’ offense decided to stay aggressive and attempt a two-point conversion for the win, though. This bold decision paid off. Hawks tight end Lane Stansberry scored the successful two-point conversion, sealing the 25-24 win.

Wall closes its three-game homestand versus Monahans on Friday, September 20.
