KISD administrator arrested on marijuana charge

BELL COUNTY, Texas ( FOX 44 ) – The Killeen Independent School District’s executive director of administration has been arrested on a marijuana charge.

Temple Police officers were in the area of Interstate 35 and Exit #299 around 11:12 p.m. Saturday, when a vehicle passed by without a functioning driver-side headlight. Officers initiated a traffic stop and approached the vehicle.

Officers identified the driver of the vehicle as Jennifer Washington, and discovered a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Officers asked the occupants to step out of the vehicle for a search.

Police say officers found 1.9 grams of marijuana inside of the vehicle. Both of the occupants were transported to Bell County Jail without incident.

FOX 44 News also reached out to Killeen ISD, who says Washington has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.

maybe getting this stoner out of her position will make room for more clear headed people to come in and clean things up. I can't imagine how many things she screwed up while being high on the job. I'm glad she was caught. if she doesn't have the good sense to drive sober , then she deserves nothing less.
