UMHB game against JMU canceled

BELTON, Texas ( FOX 44 ) – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB) football game against John Melvin University (JMU) has been canceled.

UMHB says the game was originally scheduled for this Saturday, September 28, but has been canceled due to a lack of available JMU athletes and safety concerns.

The university says it will return to action on Saturday, October 5 in the American Southwest Conference opener against East Texas Baptist University in a 1 p.m. kickoff at Crusader Stadium.
