( KTLA ) — Your Ring camera may catch video of packages being dropped off, friends visiting, and cute animal activities , but the home surveillance company is hoping you’ll catch some different, paranormal activity this Halloween season.

Ring is inviting users to submit videos showcasing paranormal activity for the chance to win a $100,000 prize.

Any form of paranormal activity — ghosts, ghouls, and anywhere in between — is welcome, according to Ring.

“From supernatural sightings of floating orbs and unexplained shadows to family and friends wearing silly costumes. Funny, frightening, fashionable, all of it. If you find a ghost, we want to see it,” the contest website said.

“Finn Wolfhard, star of ‘Ghostbusters’ and Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things,’ and Paranormal Investigator Katrina Weidman will serve as part of the judging team for Ring’s Great Ghost Search, helping to select the winning entry,” a news release said.

Only the first 5,000 entries received through Nov. 1 will be considered for the grand prize. According to Ring, only the first 30 seconds of each video will be considered. Videos will be awarded points, with a maximum of 100 points available.

Points will be awarded based on the visibility or clarity of the “ghost” or ghostly presence; whether the video surprises the judges with uniqueness; whether the judges were “glued to the footage” and how entertaining it was; and how unique the ghost’s engagement with the Ring device was.

Ring users can enter the contest and find more details here .
