Teacher charged with attempted improper relationship with student

WACO, Texas ( FOX 44 ) – The Waco Police Department is searching for students who might have had inappropriate encounters with a former teacher.

The department says 57-year-old Todd Wyatt has been arrested and is charged with Attempted Improper Relationship between Educator and Student. He was a Vanguard College Preparatory School teacher but is no longer employed there.

Throughout the investigation, the department’s Crimes Against Children Unit discovered other students might have experienced similar attempts.
