SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — Watch the video above to view recent Wall Hawks highlights and hear from head coach Craig Slaughter.

The Wall Hawks have set the tone early lately, mounting sizeable first-half leads via strong offensive display. Quarterback Landon York threw two first-half touchdowns in week four’s game versus Monahans, guiding his squad to a 20-0 halftime lead.

Similar to week three, the Hawks began to let a massive lead slip. Wall fended off a second-half rally by Monahans, claiming a 27-20 win to improve to 3-1 this season. Head coach Craig Slaughter couldn’t be more impressed with his team’s offense, which hasn’t recorded more than one turnover in a single game this season. He also understands his defense must step it up in the second half to prevent leads from slipping, but has strong confidence that they will adjust.
