HIGHLIGHTS: Eldorado’s defense holds strong in week five win

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — Watch the video above to view highlights from Eldorado’s week five win on Sept. 27.

After a hard-fought loss to Miles in week four, the Eldorado Eagles bounced back at home and made a statement in week five.

Led by a strong defensive effort, Eldorado held a 10-0 halftime lead, with the only touchdown scored by senior wide receiver Jasi Galindo.

Harper struggled to gain momentum in the first half. A 13-point second half effort wasn’t enough however, as Eldorado cruised to the 30-13 win. First-year head coach William Robledo guides his team to a much-needed win, snapping the Eagles’ three-game losing streak.

Eldorado improves to 2-3 this season heading into its bye week.
