HIGHLIGHTS: #9 Wall pulls out big victory over Sweetwater

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) The #9 ranked Wall Hawks went on the road after a 3 game home stint and took care of business. The Hawks pulled out a big victory over Sweetwater.

Wall won the previous two matchups against Sweetwater by 40+ points each game. The Hawks took an early 6-0 lead but the Mustangs would take over with the score of 7-6. After a blocked punt is returned for a touchdown, Sweetwater extends the lead 15 to 6 after the 2pt try. The lead again is extended by the Mustangs this time 21-6.

For Wall most games this season saw a first half lead dwindle with every team looking like a 2nd half team. Tonight was a different story tonight for Wall as they did not let Sweetwater back in the game, but rather would score 36 unanswered points in the 2nd half to take a commanding 42-21 victory on the road in Sweetwater.

Wall is back home next week once again with another 4-1 team coming to town, the Idalou Wildcats.
