    2024 Halloween events & activities in the Concho Valley

    SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — From festivals to trick-or-treating and corn mazes to pumpkin patches, the Concho Valley will have everything you need to celebrate Halloween this year.

    Pumpkin Patches

    Circle S Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

    • The Circle S Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch will run from Sept. 28 to Nov. 2 this year. Attendees can wander through a “Peanuts”-themed corn maze, pick pumpkins from the pumpkin patch, shoot corn out of cannons and more.
      • VIP Pass
        • $15 for adults
        • $12 for children
      • Corn Maze Admission
        • $8 for adults
        • $5 for children
        • Free for kids 2 and under
      • Hours of Operation
        • Thursday-Friday: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
        • Saturday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
        • Sunday: 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

    Gin and Granary

    • The Gin and Granary restaurant, found at 8336 Loop 570 S. in Wall, Texas, will host its pumpkin patch from Oct. 5 to Dec. 7. Attendees can also enjoy a corn maze, a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, tractor train hayride, playground, Silo Slide and yard games. Homemade food items will also be sold.

        • Saturdays: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
        • Sundays: noon to 6 p.m.

    Haunted Houses & Scare Attractions

    Fort Concho’s House of Horrors

    • Dare to be scared at Fort Concho’s House of Horrors! Join the spine-chilling fun at the Quartermaster Building on Oct. 4 and 5 from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tickets are $12 or $10 for Fort Concho members (with ID), and kids under 6 get in free with a general admission ticket. Tickets can be purchased at the Barracks 1 Sutler Store, 630 S. Oakes St.

    Fort Concho After Dark

    • Experience the chills of Fort Concho After Dark! On Oct. 11 and 12, join one of four tour groups and explore the fort’s most haunted buildings. The eerie adventure starts at 8 p.m. from Barracks 1, but tickets must be bought in advance. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for Fort Concho members and free for kids under 6.

    A Murder at Fort Concho

    • Don’t miss A Murder at Fort Concho on Oct. 18 and 19! From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., step into a real-life “Clue” game as you question historical figures across the fort to solve a chilling mystery. Start at the Visitor Center (Barracks 1) for your clue sheet and orientation. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for Fort Concho members.

    Nightmare at Camp Williams

    • Nightmare at Camp Williams is back in Carlsbad, Texas, for another year of its haunted maze attraction! The maze will be at 10950 U.S. Highway 87 N., and tickets will cost $20 per person.
      • Hours of Operation
        • Oct. 18, 19, 25 and 26
        • “Scaredy cat” hours – 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
        • “Full scare” hours – 9 p.m. to midnight

    Trick-Or-Treating & Festivals

    Oct. 5:

    Sierra Vista Harvest Festival

    • Join Sierra Vista United Methodist Church at 4522 College Hills Blvd. for its 37th annual Harvest Festival! From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., enjoy a pumpkin patch, garage sale, silent auction, pulled pork sandwich lunch and more. Funds raised during the event go to Concho Valley Food Bank, Kids Eat Free, Meals for the Elderly, Wesley Trinity Daily Bread Soup Kitchen and local church outreach.

    Fall at the Farm

    • The Chicken Farm Art Center will host artists from San Angelo and throughout Texas to sell their artwork, crafts and goods from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 2505 Martin Luther King Drive. Weather permitting, the Chicken Pickers local musician group will also perform live.

    Oct. 19:

    Fall Block Party

    • Holiday shopping with local vendors, food, drinks, live music and more await in downtown San Angelo! Visit the section of West Beauregard Avenue between Irving Street and Chadbourne Street from noon to 5 p.m. to participate.

    Oct. 24:

    Halloween at the Y

    • It’s frightfully fun to stay at the YMCA! Go to the parking lot of the YMCA of San Angelo, located at 353 S. Randolph St., from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for a free trick or treat rally featuring costumed community leaders.

    Oct. 26:

    11th Annual Fall Festival Block Party

    • Head to the San Angelo Performing Arts Center at 82 Gillis St. from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. for bounce houses, a trunk or treat contest, a costume contest, a haunted house, face painting, pumpkin painting, food, music, arts and crafts, games and more!

    Trucks and Treats

    • Drive to San Angelo Stadium at 1919 Knickerbocker Rd. and join the Concho Valley Electric Cooperative for a spin on the classic trunk or treat experience! From 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., explore specialized vehicles used for public emergencies, utility work, transportation and construction services while also enjoying food from a selection of food trucks.

    Oct. 29:

    Walk-Thru Boo Halloween

    • Sunset Mall’s Walk-Thru Boo Halloween event will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. this year. Attendees can enjoy an evening of family-friendly Halloween fun, with stores and organizations passing out candy while supplies last. A costume contest will be held, and event-goers can also vote on their favorite painted pumpkins.

    Oct. 30:

    Downtown Trick or Treat Fest

    • On Oct. 30 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m., collect treats from local businesses and enjoy a sweet night on the town during the Downtown Trick or Treat Fest. A map and list of participating locations will be available on Oct. 28 at downtownsanangelo.com/downtown-strong .

    Oct. 31:

    Trunk or Treat at West Texas Lighthouse for the Blind

    • The event, hosted by the San Angelo Lion’s Club, will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 555 E. 6th St. Food, a bounce house, a train ride, games and more will be at the trunk or treat.

    Trick or Treat at the Angelo West Branch Library

    • Visit the Angelo West Branch Library, located at 3013 Vista Del Arroyo Drive, to show off your costume and get a treat! The event starts at 10 a.m.
